NBA Foundation Grants Open Up on October 1

The NBA Foundation Grants windown opens up October 1 and runs through November 1. If your organization is interested in applying for a grant from the NBA Foundation, please take the following steps:


  • Create an account on the grant application portal, FLUXX, using the link below
  • Once your organization is registered, you will receive a confirmation email with credentials for login. It is recommended that you click this link within 48 hours as it will expire.
  • Complete the grant application within the portal and provide a Form 990, current fiscal year organizational budget, project budget, and board list with your application


NBA Foundation grants serve to drive economic opportunity for under-resourced youth, ages 14-24, by funding programs that generate successful transitions from school to meaningful employment with priority being given to organizations operating in NBA team markets.

Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

If you interact with youth and care to see them live safe and healthy lives, Hope for Miami has a training for you! Hope for Miami’s Project Bridge offers Youth Mental Health First Aid to any adult who interacts with youth (or parents of adolescents). This course can increase mental health awareness through education on behavioral health and addictions, and help you recognize the potential early warning signs. Advocacy Network on Disabilities Looking for a Family Support Coordinator *

Are you looking for a great place to work and work that makes a difference? The Family Support Coordinator at the Advocacy Network on Disabilities is responsible for the provision of advocacy, support and linkage services to individuals with developmental and other disabilities, their families and care givers as well as professionals and others seeking assistance. Utilizes strength-based strategies to build families’ protective factors.


Training and Experience Requirements: Bachelors in social work or related field. Minimum of 2 years-experience working with families who have children with disabilities and knowledge of local community strongly preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Bilingual English-Spanish required
