Greetings!
The City of Tucson has a new Police Chief. Immediately after former Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus was confirmed as the head of US Customs and Border Protection, the Tucson City Mayor and Council decisively appointed Tucson Deputy Chief Chad Kasmar as the new chief.
Chief Kasmar is a home grown native Tucsonan, an Amphi High School, U of A graduate and a veteran of 21 years on the Tucson Police Department. By all accounts, Chad Kasmar is ready for the job.
As soon as I heard of Chief Kasmar’s appointment, I sent him congratulations and an invitation to the 4Tucson Blessing Breakfast for First Responders and Elected Officials. This event will be on January 28, 2022 at the El Conquistador Tucson Resort. Asking God’s blessing for the men and women who risk their lives every day protecting and serving us and the elected officials whose primary job is to provide public safety is of utmost importance.
This is the 7th year 4Tucson has hosted this breakfast with our co-sponsor, the 100Club of Arizona. With the help of many table sponsors and our premiere sponsor, HSL Properties, all first responders attend for free.
Please extend this invitation to all your first responder friends to attend. There’s a registration link in this newsletter for them to reserve a seat. I also extend this invitation for you to attend, our 4Tucson members and friends. Join us in blessing and honoring our first responders and elected officials.
Don’t wait until the last minute to register; this event will certainly sell out.
