Hello neighbors,

Census takers will begin visiting households that haven’t yet responded beginning August 11. 

The Census Bureau strongly encourages the public to respond online at 2020census.gov. Households can respond online or by phone in English or 12 other languages, or by mail using the paper questionnaire mailed to nonresponding addresses or dropped off at the door.

The New Deadline for the US Census is September 30.

A long standing and respected resident of Miramar, Mr. Ansin is remembered as committed philanthropist who cared for local communities, his long-lasting commitment and dedication to enriching the lives of others.

Thank You.
John Kee, a former professional basketball player and longtime Miramar city employee, died due to Covid-19.

City officials remember Kee for his warm smile and his immeasurable contributions to the city and its youth sports organizations over 16 years. At the time of his passing, he served as Parks and Recreation Administrator.

He will be greatly missed.

New Deadline is September 30!
A complete and accurate 2020 Census count is more important than ever as we continue to see the public health and economic impacts of COVID-19. Federal funding based on Census data is allocated towards hospitals, health clinics, schools, community development projects, and so much more. The Census touches every life, every day. 
Currently the City of Miramar has a 67.5% response rate and we must do better!
