Dear Falcons,
On August 10, the Board of Trustees took immediate action to remove the vaccination requirement for students within Board Policy 2905 (BP 2905). The current BP2905 will not be enforced while the policy is being updated and students will not be dropped. You are still highly encouraged to become fully vaccinated as a measure of protection against COVID-19. Moderna vaccines are available at the Student Health Center by appointment.
What You Need to Know
While the policy is being updated students are no longer required to:
- Provide proof of full vaccination in order to enroll in in-person/hybrid classes or to physically access District facilities.
- Take and upload a negative COVID test each week
What you Need to Do
All students who access campus must still complete the daily health screening via OptimumHQ, and check in at a Kiosk to receive a daily wristband before going to class or campus offices.
