Advisory Panel Selects 2016 Lighthouse Activities
Our Advisory Panel met earlier this month to select what promises to be another amazing group of Lighthouse Activities. We are excited to announce the winning initiatives in September and celebrate them during a series of special events in November at the UN Climate Change Conference in Marrakech, Morocco.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to nominate their game-changing projects. Your efforts to create a low-carbon, highly resilient future is building ambition to implement the Paris Climate Change Agreement.

Have you watched our video series profiling positive, transformative climate action stories from across the globe?

Filmed on location, the videos take the viewer on a trip around the world for a first-hand look at the inspiring work being done by all the Momentum for Change winners.

We recently released a series of new videos featuring our 2015 winners. Watch the videos to learn about the diverse range of action underway to address climate change and meet the people who are making a real difference.

Here are just two of the videos featured this month:
  • ChargePoint Electric Vehicle Charging Corridors: Watch how the world's largest electric vehicle charging network is transforming the transportation industry by providing the charging stations, mobile app and the network that allow people to charge their cars everywhere they go.
  • SELF's Solar Market Gardens: Watch how solar-powered drip irrigation has empowered women farmers and made year-round food production possible in Benin's remote villages.
