October 2020
Volunteer Newsletter
Updates & Opportunities
A monthly newsletter to keep CDRCK volunteers up to date with the organization's shenanigans and provide volunteer opportunity listings
It's October and here we are still living through a pandemic. All of our adoption and fundraising events have been canceled and intake looks a bit different now.

We have a new intake site--The Congressional Cemetery! It's been a fun transition for the team and the location offers space for social distancing and curbside animal check out (who knew curbside foster and adoption pick up would ever be a thing?!).

Some highlights -- we have adopted out an insane amount of dogs and cats since retreating to the safety of our homes in March. We’ve approved a ton of new fosters in that time too! A huge shout-out goes to our entire City Dogs Rescue and City Kitties Volunteer Team for everything they have made possible, despite 2020 bringing some weird circumstances to our lives.
Volunteer Opportunities

We started this little newsletter to help you, our amazing volunteers, keep up with the rescue during these disconnected times. Despite so many things being shut down, everyone wants a furry pal right now. Our rescue needs your service now more than ever.

So if you’re interested in being more involved from home (pajama-attire approved), check out these volunteer opportunities.
