Episcopal Bishop says: Easter is a "go" moment - if we're willing to answer

In her work, Bishop Duckworth places great emphasis on the "go/no-go" roll call before the Artemis II launch, likening the critical moment to the profound pause that occurs in the church on Good Friday before the first fire of Easter.

Imagine if the gifts needed for our Church’s future are already among us.

Rooted in Christ, Rising in Community is a three-day gathering that helps lay leaders identify spiritual gifts, deepen their formation, and gain tools to strengthen ministry in their congregations. Through worship, storytelling, and practical sessions, participants grow in confidence and clarity about their calling.

Workshops:

Relational Leadership & Beloved Community

The Rev. Canon Morgan MacIntire & Lauren Dunn

Discernment & Formation
The Rev. Guimond Pierre Louis & Susan Atkins

Plenary:
Rooted – Belonging in Discernment

The Rev. Seamus Doyle

As each leader grows, our congregations grow stronger — and our diocese rises together.

Archdeacon Charles deGravelles Ministry Connection to New Book

Waiting to Die is a powerful story of redemption, hope and reconciliation. Feltus was forgiven by the surviving victim of his crime, and Feltus was determined, through his writing, to help young people avoid the life of crime that led him to death row.

Archdeacon Charles Charles deGravelles was Feltus Taylor’s spiritual advisor and part of a remarkable team of lawyers, social work researchers, and writers who encouraged and supported Feltus in recounting the story of his life.

Feltus directed that any proceeds from the publication of this work be directed to his victims and also to support programs that work with at-risk youth. The book is available for purchase on Amazon.

This recognition on the national Episcopal Church's website is a testament to the hard work, support, and outstanding contributions of so many across our dioceses. We're thrilled to be highlighted at this level — it means even more families will be able to discover these resources and deepen their relationship with God.
