Steve Allison

Steve Allison is a doctor of physical therapy, a certified DOT medical examiner for the FMCSA, and a certified occupational health practitioner under the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He has been licensed to practice physical therapy for thirty years. He has focused his practice on the sub-specialty areas of functional capacity evaluations, functional employment testing, functional job analysis, functional test validation testing, FCE peer review, and disability case consulting. 

Steve served as the lead author of the FCE best practices guideline adopted by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in April 2018. He has also authored and/or contributed to other articles and monographs related to FCE, job analysis, medical fitness for duty, and a clinical practice guideline for work rehabilitation. He has served as an expert consultant to the EEOC in disability discrimination cases, and he has been recognized in various federal courts and district courts in Louisiana and Colorado as an expert in FCEs, functional job analysis, functional test validation, and orthopedic physical therapy. 
Kim Parker-Guerrero

Kim Parker-Guerrero, PT, DPT is the owner of RENEW Physical Therapy in Roswell, New Mexico, specializing in pelvic and abdominal health physical therapy. A physical therapy graduate of University of Texas Medical Branch and A.T. Still University, Kim has over forty years of clinical practice experience in every practice setting. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has served in a variety of roles for both APTA New Mexico (President, Legislative Chair, Licensing Board Liaison) and APTA Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (APHPT). Kim currently serves the physical therapy profession as NM APTA Federal Affairs Liaison and Payment Chair and APHPT Director of Practice.
Kirk Peck

Kirk Peck is past President of the Animal Physical Therapy Special Interest Group of the APTA Orthopedic Academy of Physical Therapists (2013-19), and current SIG liaison to the World Physiotherapy Animal PT Network. He is a core instructor in the University of Tennessee Certification Program in Equine Rehabilitation and collaborates with veterinarians to rehabilitate canine clients. In addition, he offers PT services for Native Americans at an outpatient medical facility governed by the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. Kirk is an Associate Professor and past Chair of the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, where he teaches clinical exercise physiology and political advocacy.
Rick Wickstrom

Rick Wickstrom is a doctor of physical therapy, Certified Professional Ergonomist, and Certified Medical Examiner. He earned his bachelor's degree in physical therapy from The Ohio State University, completed graduate coursework in occupational ergonomics at the University of Cincinnati, and obtained his doctoral degree in physical therapy from Alabama State University. His diverse clinical practice includes functional employment exams, transitional work-site therapy, functional capacity evaluation, worker accommodation studies, ergonomic job analysis, research, and training. He currently serves as President of the Occupational Health SIG in the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and as Delegate for the APTA Ohio Chapter.
