Stephen Curley

Stephen Curley is the Executive Director for the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy (KBPT). Stephen has been in this role for the last two years. With a background and education in investigations, he has served as an investigator in both the private and public sector for over seventeen years. He has been an investigator for the KBPT, as well as ten other boards, during his thirteen years with the state. Stephen has been a speaker at several national conferences on topics ranging from investigations, disciplinary actions, board processes, public protection, addiction, documentation, and several other topics.

Kenneth Garcia

Ken joined the Department of Consumer Affairs, Division of Investigation, as an investigator in 2015. He was promoted through the ranks and was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief in 2023. Ken has over twenty-on years of law enforcement experience in the state of California.
Jason Kaiser

Jason Kaiser has served the Physical Therapy Board of California (PTBC) since 2009 in a number of capacities, including Manager of the Applications & Licensing Services Unit and Manager of the Consumer Protection Services Unit. In 2012, Jason was appointed as the Executive Officer of the PTBC.
Sherri Paru

Sherri is a physical therapist and has been the Clinical Advisor and Investigator for the Oregon Board of Physical Therapy for twenty-one years. She has served on the FSBPT Nominating Committee and Education Committee. She is a current member of the Sexual Misconduct and Boundary Violations Committee and also serves as the vice chair of the PT Compact Compliance Committee. Sherri is a trained investigator through CLEAR and has also served on CLEAR committees and created content for CLEAR trainings.
Keith Poynter

Martin "Keith" Poynter has been General Counsel for the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy since December 2018. Prior to his role with the Physical Therapy Board, Keith served as General Counsel for the Kentucky Board of Chiropractic Examiners for five years. The role of General Counsel for the Physical Therapy Board is a part-time position, and Keith maintains a full-time practice as a trial attorney at the Sampson Law Firm in Louisville, Kentucky, where he focuses his practice on civil trial litigation and criminal defense. In these roles, Keith has had extensive experience in negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution. Prior to becoming an attorney, Keith served as a police officer for several agencies in Kentucky and Tennessee.
