Think about it—Wilford Woodruff was alive from 1807 to 1898. He was born during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson, two years before Abraham Lincoln; he was 23 years old when The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was organized in 1830; and he began keeping his records of the Restoration of the gospel three years later. His journals are one of the most complete accounts of the history of the Church in the nineteenth century, full of personal interactions, first-hand accounts of events in involving thousands of other individuals, and stories not recorded anywhere else. Your relatives may be connecting you to this history—from his pen to your family tree and directly to you.
