Williston Works Podcast Season 2 features Flex PACE Interest Buydown Program
The sixth Williston Works Podcast features Fresh Fit Kitchen & The Body Shoppe with owners JW and Blair Sheering.
Williston Economic Development - Williston Economic Development has released the first six episodes of Season 2 of its Williston Works podcast. Five of the six podcasts feature local entrepreneurs while one showcases an internship program. The host of the program is WED Executive Shawn Wenko. Some of the episodes highlight programs offered though the City of Williston STAR Fund. "The Flex PACE Interest Buydown program is the biggest program our office utilizes, and we have a lot of support from our leadership here," said Wenko. Groundbreaking held for Innovation Academy; ASB&T donates $500,000

News Release - The Board of Directors of American State Bank & Trust Company of Williston recently approved an anchor donation of $500,000 to the Williston Public School District #1 Innovation Academy. The anchor donation from ASB, combined with many other community, business and energy industry sponsors and a major grant from Williams County, has made it possible to begin remodeling the former indoor pool facility into a dedicated learning space for approximately 400 fifth through eighth grade students. Construction in high gear at Watford City Elementary School

here are already 1,900 students in the McKenzie County School District #1, with more on the way. The largest numbers are in preschool and kindergarten. To prepare for that influx, the district is building a brand new $35 million elementary school. Construction on their state-of-the-art facility began in April, and is scheduled to be completed by next September. That means employees will be working through the winter. Read More
