New Williston Works Podcasts to be released Soon
Williston Economic Development - Season 3 of the Williston Works Podcast is coming soon! Executive Director Shawn Wenko recently recorded five podcasts. They will be released later this year. The podcasts will feature individuals from Dacotah West Crane Service, Anna's Groom Room, Genesis, Walt's Market and the Williston Basin International Airport. Wenko is interviewing Andy Njos from Dacotah West Crane Service in the photo.
City Commission holds First Meeting in Newly Remodeled City Hall
Williston Herald - The Williston City Commission held their first meeting inside the new renovated City Hall’s John Kautzman Chamber Room. The meeting room was named for the longtime City Auditor, who retired after 35 years of working for the City. Mayor Howard Klug reflected on Kautzman’s contributions to the city prior at the start of the meeting. Read More
Sidewalk Seating coming to Downtown Williston
Williston Economic Development - Remodeling is underway in Downtown Williston. Hops & Berry is moving forward with new sidewalk seating that will be opening soon on Main Street. The owner of the tap house is also converting adjacent space to Pops and Berry. The new business will feature a variety of craft sodas and a retro arcade.
XWA to get Additional Signage
Williston Herald - The Williston City Commission is moving forward with a plan to improve signage at the Williston Basin International Airport. The project includes a monument sign at XWA’s entrance, as well as a smaller monument sign at the intersection of Highway 85 and County Road 7. Read More

Granley named ASB&T Ag Loan Manager, Alderman joins Ag Staff
News Release - American State Bank & Trust Company President/CEO Dave Hanson recently announced that Aaron Granley has been named Agricultural Loan Manager. Granley is also an Assistant Vice President. He has been an Ag Loan Officer with ASB&T since 2013 and had prior experience in Ag and Commercial Lending. Granley was promoted to department manager after the recent retirement of Kurt Nielsen.
