Artale Grand Tasting
15 Year Anniversary Celebration
Tony Artale Memorial Foundation Fundraiser
Saturday, Nov. 11th 5:30-8:30pm

Dear friends and fellow soccer enthusiasts,

We have a heartwarming story to share with you, one that embodies the true spirit of the "beautiful game". It is a tale of a remarkable man named Tony, whose love for soccer knew no bounds. Today, we stand before you to humbly request your support for a worthy cause that honors Tony's legacy and keeps his passion alive.

Tony, a true Italian at heart, dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player. But life had other plans for him, leading him to America as a teenager where he would eventually cross paths with his future wife at a soccer game. Love took hold, and while his dreams of soccer stardom were put aside, Tony found a new purpose in nurturing a loving family.

Throughout the years, Tony's devotion to soccer never wavered. He poured his heart into this community through coaching, inspiring generations of young players through his wisdom and unwavering support.

But Tony's passion extended far beyond his immediate circle. Countless miles were traveled to watch soccer games, rain or shine, as he cheered on not only his own children and grandchildren but also his beloved Juventus. Soccer became a symphony that played in the background of our lives, uniting us all with its beauty and exhilaration.

Today, we invite you to join us in honoring Tony's memory by supporting the establishment of a family foundation in his name. This foundation will serve as a nurturing ground for young talents, providing them with the resources, coaching, and opportunities they need to pursue their dreams on the soccer field.

Your generous donations will help us create a legacy of love and support, just as Tony did throughout his life. With your support, we can provide scholarships for underprivileged children to receive quality soccer training and establish programs that promote inclusivity and diversity within the soccer community.

Imagine the joy on the faces of young players as they step onto the field, fueled by the spirit of Tony's unwavering support. Your contribution will make a tangible difference in their lives, nurturing their love for soccer and empowering them to reach their full potential.

So, dear friends, I humbly ask you to open your hearts and wallets to this noble cause. Together, let us keep Tony's passion for soccer alive and create a lasting impact in the lives of aspiring players. Your donation, no matter the size, will make a difference and help us ensure that Tony's legacy remains a beacon of hope and inspiration for generations to come.

Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and your belief in the power of soccer to transform lives. Together, we can continue Tony's remarkable journey and make dreams come true, one goal at a time.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The Artale Family

READY TO DRINK COCKTAILS

For many of us, whiskey cocktail season is all year but as the cold months approach a Manhattan or Old Fashioned sound ideal. While cocktailing at home is always fun, these pop and pour cocktails are perfect when you don't feel like putting in the work. We have tasted through tons of these style of products, often being underwhelmed by their overbearing sweetness or not tasting like the true cocktail. But these few are Artale approved and our customers are floored when they taste these products. Grab a bottle while they are on sale and restock your cherries for the final touch on your cocktail.

These are candied cherries soaked in Luxardo marasca cherry syrup. The percentage of marasca cherries in jars and tins is about 50% and so is the percentage of syrup. No thickening agents of any type and no preservatives are used and the dark red color is all natural. Their unique taste comes from the marasca cherry syrup which is made starting from the same juice used to prepare the infusion for the Cherry Liqueur “Sangue Morlacco”. A cutting edge system of pasteurization guarantees the maximum level of preservation and safety. Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries accurate candying process confers to the fruit a crispiness which is rare to find amongst competing brands. Today, like in the golden age of cocktails, Luxardo Original Maraschino Cherries are used in the worlds’ best bars and by the most famous mixologists as a garnish in their creations. The syrup itself may be used in many cocktails as a flavored sugar. They are also ideal over ice cream.

WINE OF THE MONTH

Paso Robles

Cabernet Sauvignon

2019

$21.99

reg. $25.99

Dense purple in color, this wine opens with aromas of dark cherries, blackberry preserves and a dusting of coco powder and clove. On the entry, ripe, dark fruit flavors hit the palate before rounding out to earthy, rich chocolate covered cherries complemented by lively acidity and fine tannins that lifts the wine and suggests a long life. The finish is long, supple, and mouthwatering.

Castello di Bossi

Chianti Classico

Grand Selzione

2019

$39.99

Deep ruby in color with garnet lights that hint at the wine's extended barrel aging, Castello di Bossi Gran Selezione is explosive in its intensity and yet the wine manages an astounding complexity and finesse. Aromas of rich black cherry and plum integrate well with cedar, sweet cooking spices, chocolate and saddle leather. On the palate the wine is fleshy and dense. The finish achieves great balance and very pronounced length. This is a wine that will age with grace for many years.

It is sourced from sites throughout the state which feature climatic conditions, soils and topography that are ideally suited to Cabernet. This project stems from excitement over California's diverse vineyard land, often in lesser-known areas, with the potential to produce exceptional Cabernet.

RIDICULOUS QUALITY

Edmeades

Mendocino

Zinfandel

2020

$13.99

reg. $15.99

The 2020 Zinfandel is once again one of my favorite wines in this vast range. Dark and sumptuous, with great density, the 2021 dazzles right out of the gate. Black cherry, gravel and dried flowers are some of the many notes that inform this deep, flavorful Zinfandel. The price? Ridiculous for this level of quality and pedigree.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER"S NEW ZEALAND WINE

Invivo

New Zealand

Sauvignon Blanc

2022

$17.99

reg. $19.99

The Invivo X, SJP Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of five estates in Marlborough, spanning both Wairau and Awatere Valleys with vines ageing from three to eleven years. Sarah Jessica loved the intensity of style from the Waihopai Valley and has blended that with pure fruit aromatics from the Western Wairau and the power and purity found in the Westhaven Vineyard in the Dashwood. The Westhaven vineyard is one of the last blocks of Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough to be harvested and so has an extremely long season to develop flavor and power. Wine Spectator 93 Points

27th Anniversary Lemon Shark

Double IPA with Phantasm

$15.99

6pk 12oz can

For this year’s anniversary beer, we found inspiration in the southern hemisphere. This double IPA is brewed with Peacharine and Riwaka hops, along with a special ingredient called Phantasm – an extract from sauvignon blanc grape skins – all sourced from New Zealand. Combined with some good old fashioned Mosaic hops from the US and an amped up grain bill and we’ve got ourselves a unique sensory experience full of dankness and tropical citrusy notes. Coming in at a smooth 9.6% in honor of the year we started: 1996.
