New Work!
I am producing a new series of work. This piece is titled "#9" and is the first in a series of 12 planned in using numerology as inspiration. Happy to make appointments to show work.

David Ruth
David Ruth has created large scale sculptures through glass casting for the last thirty years. He seeks to contrast rough textures with polished surfaces, along with bright, dynamic colors.

His work has been featured in several galleries, including Traver Gallery and the Joyce Gordon Gallery. One of Ruth's current projects includes texture molds from glacial ice and stone in Antartica. Ruth currently resides in Oakland California.

Looking for a fun and interesting activity because your kid wants something beside their screen this summer? Un-plug into a hands-on introductory glass art class at Potekglass! Middle Schoolers entering into grades 6-9 can sign up for a week-long summer course to explore the exciting medium of glass.
 
Join local glass artist Malcom Potek in his studio for an engaging class that offers students a chance to safely play with, fire, color, science, creativity, and melting glass. Students will be working three-dimensionally with clay and experimenting with hot and cold glass-work. No experience necessary!
