Building an Active & Informed Native American Electorate
January 16, 2019

Happy New Year! 2019 is looking to be a great year, and there's a lot of exciting opportunities for good work in the New Year.
Happy New Year!
January 1st marked the start of the New Year, and with it comes a lot of opportunity for new work, new policy, and room for progress for New Mexico's working families. We have a big opportunity in the 2019 legislative session this year, starting with a $1.2 Billion dollar surplus, as well as many new legislators that need to hear from Native people in NM. This year marks a unique opportunity to grow our economy, ensure innovation in our educational systems to provide our children opportunities to thrive.

We will provide updates on the renewable energy bills, Indian Education and Early childhood education bills and of course the payday lending fix bill. So stay tuned!
