Dear Friends,
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably set a few New Year's resolutions and goals this week. You likely have big plans for how to propel yourself into the best version of you, whether that's by setting intentions for exercising more, eating better, or making the most of time spent with family.
However, if you're considering a divorce, your resolutions may look a little different this year. While you may still be working towards setting some new healthy habits, you may wonder if family time will look a little different next year. I encourage you to take a step back, look at the complete picture, and consider the purpose of New Year's resolutions. By setting intentions for the coming year, we're focusing on creating the kind of life that includes more happiness, more peace, and more fulfillment.
Divorce can be difficult, but if you're stuck in a marriage that just isn't working, divorce can also be the gateway to a happier and more peaceful future. If you believe that divorce is on your horizon, I encourage you not to put off the inevitable. Take action, take control of your life, and make a change. Your future self will thank you.
If you feel that you are ready to envision what your life can look like after divorce, please give our office a call. We have experienced and compassionate attorneys who are ready to make your goals a reality.
