A New Year, A New Chapter for Other Worlds
Dear Friends,
2024 brought its share of challenges for Other Worlds—and for me personally. The store began the year navigating the aftermath of our fourth break-in in just two months. At the same time, following a visit to the ER in October 2023, I found myself unexpectedly starting cardiac therapy.
Throughout the year, we faced slower sales in some areas, lower-than-average event turnouts, and lingering effects of national and global challenges, from economic shifts to pandemic-related supply chain delays.
Yet, through it all, one constant remained: your unwavering support. It’s because of you, our incredible community, that we’ve persevered.
As we step into 2025, we’re embracing a spirit of renewal and growth. With a packed release schedule of exciting new games and comics and a renewed focus on bringing more events into the store, we’re committed to making this year better than the last. Our goal is simple: to continue being your go-to destination for healthy fun, engaging games, and vibrant social connections.
On a personal note, I’m proud to share that I’ve completed 14 consecutive months of regular exercise and a healthier diet—a journey that’s strengthened my resolve to make this year a success for all of us.
Thank you for being part of this adventure. Together, we’ll turn this mothership around and make 2025 a year to celebrate. Here’s to brighter days and shared adventures ahead!
