We are starting 2024 with exciting news!

Thanks to you, we are growing our programs for Yonkers students and replicating YPIE programs in Jersey City, NJ, and Nashville, TN!

YPIE Yonkers

Our momentum in Yonkers remains strong. YPIE students submitted hundreds of college applications, enrolled in two new YPIE Majors (Robotics and Healthcare), and thrived on their college campuses. In December, we welcomed more than 200 9th Graders to the YPIE Scholars Class of 2031.  

YPIE Jersey City

For the first time, we will be working with students beyond Yonkers! We opened YPIE College Centers in two of the largest high schools in Jersey City and created the YPIE Jersey City College Zone on the campus of Saint Peter’s University.

We are excited to welcome the inaugural class of YPIE Jersey City Scholars this month and plan to support 160 students by this spring with our College Readiness and Access programs. Read more.

YPIE Nashville

Since 2016, Regeneron has supported YPIE's award-winning Science Research program that prepares students for a future in science by conducting original research in science labs and medical settings, participating in science competitions, and earning college credits.

Because of this program's success, Regeneron asked us to bring our Science Research program to Nashville students next fall as part of a major health equity initiative announced last October. Read more.

This is a significant milestone for YPIE, bringing all we have learned during our 16 years in Yonkers to students in new cities and ensuring they are on the path to college success.
