Mark Your Calendars: It's time for a change!
Instead of having our annual social event in November, we're moving it to the summer! We'll enjoy warm weather which will allow our snowbirds and farmers the opportunity to enjoy this event. On June 19, 2019, join us as we host a summer picnic at the Guthrie Center city park at 4:30 p.m. for GCSB Heritage Club members. Watch for more details about our new annual social event in our upcoming newsletter. Mark your calendars!
Colors of New England Trip Recap

The tour began in Boston and then we went onto Stowe, Vermont, North Conway, New Hampshire and then Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The leaves were at their peak and were breathtaking!

One of our travelers, Nancy Brutsche, shared her thoughts about the trip and GCSB Heritage Club:

"This was my first trip with the GCSB Heritage Club and it turned out to be a truly amazing tour of the New England states. One can never completely capture the beautiful fall colors by camera and we were there during the peak. It was such a fun group to share the drive and stop for photo ops through the Green Mountains of Vermont and later the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We learned how maple syrup was produced and enjoyed samples in Bethlehem, NH. We ate the best-ever lobster dinner in Maine after cruising Boothbay Harbor watching them pull the lobster traps. Of course, we had to try wild Maine blueberries and New England clam chowder. This trip was so well organized and we enjoyed the best hotels for accommodations throughout the trip. I'm definitely planning another trip with GCSB Heritage Club."
Branson Recap - November 12 - 17
We had a great time on our trip to Branson! We
networked for the  first time with  Farmers Savings Bank & Trust members out of Traer and Vinton. The Penitentiary in Jefferson City, Dogwood Canyon, The Texas Tenors, Showboat Branson Belle and Samson were just some of the excellent tours and shows! With all the new shows and sights in Branson, this destination is a must in the future!
Star Christmas Show Recap - December 6
It was a small group, but we all enjoyed our day out in Des Moines. The entertainment of Chad Elliott and Three Men & a Tenor was outstanding!  The buffet was delicious and the craft vendors had plenty of Christmas gift buys!
