Happy New Year from the Boyle County Public Library! This month we have great activities to get your year started. We're offering a Kids Only Book Club and a FAFSA Assistance workshop. Stop by the Gallery Reception for "New Year, New Art," an exhibit by the Gathering Artists. Learn how to record oral histories at Snacks & Stories with the Story Center. Kids ONLY Book Club

Join us for our BCPL Kids ONLY Book Club! We'll meet twice a month to talk about what we've read. This month we'll be reading Cress Watercress by Gregory Maguire. We will use the Beanstack app to register for the club and track our reading! Our book club meet-up will consist of discussion questions about our current book, troubleshooting Beanstack if needed, and an open discussion about future book club picks! Make sure to bring your book, notes, and some questions to discuss. Click HERE to register. (Ages 6-10)

All Abilities Club: 2026 Vision Boards

Join us for an activity considered for adults with physical, developmental, and/or intellectual disabilities. The goal is to explore, create and have fun in an inclusive environment. This program can be for those with or without disabilities. All adults are welcome! This month we'll be making Vision Boards and setting goals for 2026. Learn more! (Ages 18+)

Fantasy Book Quest

Discover your next great reading adventure at the library! Explore a variety of fantasy book subgenres as you enjoy crafts, games, activities, and more! This event is part of Friends of Fantasy Day in Downtown Danville. Learn more! (All Ages)
