Pima County Childcare Survey for Businesses

As evidenced through this economic study released in late 2023, insufficient childcare options across the state are having substantial economic impacts on the region. One of the ‘calls to action’ recommended in the report is how employers can explore ways to improve access to child or other dependent care for their employees. The County is exploring opportunities across its own workforce, such as childcare stipends, flexible schedules, accessibility to scholarships (such as the Pima Early Childhood Education Program – PEEPS) and other best practices. The County has solicited feedback from its own employees and would like to collect feedback from other employers about best practices they implement, or barriers their employees face pertaining to available child (or dependent) care needs. Thank you in advance for providing your comments into this brief survey by January 31.
