A Long Winter Nap

Our tree-team has spent last month preparing The Tree House–our greenhouse on the grounds of Rogers High School–for winter, moving over 460 young trees to cold storage. The Newport Tree Conservancy is now growing over 126 different species of trees at The Tree House, meet a few of them here.
For Everything, A Season

While the trees may be dormant, we certainly aren't. Our preparations for spring are in full swing, cleaning and stratifying seeds, preparing to re-launch our walking tree tours, and developing new volunteer opportunities for 2020.
