Happy New Year! As we embark on 2025, the San Jose Chamber of Commerce is filled with excitement for the opportunities ahead. This year, we are focused on driving impactful policy and programs to support businesses of all sizes, introducing innovative networking and informational events, and helping our community prepare for the spotlight of 2026’s major sporting events.


We’re also thrilled to welcome Rob Lindo as our new Board Chair. Rob brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for fostering a vibrant business community. Under his leadership, we’re poised to build on the momentum of the past year and chart an ambitious course for the future.

The evening will feature executives from the Sharks, 49ers, Earthquakes, and Bay FC executives on the transformative power of sports and the venues they call home. San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan will speak about the opportunities ahead in 2025, while Chamber President & CEO Leah Toeniskoetter reflects on 2024’s accomplishments and shares the Chamber’s vision for the year ahead.

1/29 Hoge Fenton Annual Employment Law Webinar

The new year is quickly upon us, which means a new batch of employment laws and cases that impact all businesses with employees in California. Join Hoge Fenton’s Employment Law Group for its well-known Annual Employment Law Update seminar, Wednesday, January 29, from 8:00 – 10:30 am. Hoge Fenton attorneys will discuss new employment legislation and case law and provide practical guidance on how your business can stay in compliance and out of litigation.

1/6 Super Bowl LX Source Program Info Session

We’re excited to share an incredible upcoming opportunity for local Bay Area diverse businesses to apply to the NFL's official Super Bowl LX Source procurement program. Register for an upcoming virtual info session to learn about the program and get your questions answered Mon 1/6 at 6:30 PM

 

Super Bowl LX Source is an 11-month program where local and diverse Bay Area businesses are encouraged to apply for the following opportunities:

  • Be included in the Source LX Member Directory: Provides the business exposure to contractors and event producers for Super Bowl-related subcontracting needs, as well as exposure to future BAHC, 49ers, and NFL procurement opportunities
  • Access to educational resources and workshops: Supports the business’ development and helps provide insight into various event procurement learnings
  • Networking opportunities: Build connections with key partners from the BAHC, 49ers, and NFL

 

Local Bay Area diverse businesses working within specialty areas relevant to large-scale events are encouraged to APPLY The application takes less than 10 min to complete and is due by January 31, 2025.
