BCM Programming Returns Feb. 7
Build a little excitement for Valentine's Day with Chippie! BCM’s chipmunk mascot introduces science to children aged 3 to 7 in this fun and educational monthly series, which incorporates S.T.E.A.M. elements and age-appropriate experiments. In this lab, participants will engage in a Valentine's Day-themed engineering activity. Cost: $3 lab fee per child for BCM members; museum admission + $3 lab fee per child for future members. Preregistration is required by calling 859-491-4003. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free parking.
Learn about the many hazards escaped slaves faced in the 1800s in Northern Kentucky and the heroic conductors who aided them, plus make a freedom quilt square to take home! Recommended for homeschool students in second through fifth grades. Cost is $8 for students (includes the lab fee) and $5 for adults. Preregister by February 10 at (859)-491-4003.
