South Dakota's 2024 legislative session is underway and runs from January 9 - March 25 in Pierre.

Governor Noem kicked off this year's session with the State of the State address on Tuesday, January 9. It can be viewed here.

GOED is excited to announce the next portion of the Community Based Child Care Grant. Our team was able to award 28 recipients during the Planning Grant phase.

We are quickly approaching the implementation grant funding cycle for daycare. The application period will be open from February 15 - 29, 2024, with awardees being announced in March. We will be hosting a webinar on February 1, 2024 at 2:00 pm CT to answer further questions.
