Chevron Houston Marathon Race Weekend: Recap

We had a blast supporting and cheering on our runners this weekend at the Chevron Houston Marathon, Aramco Half Marathon and We Are Houston 5K! We are so proud of our team of 61 runners, who cumulatively ran/walked 705 miles this weekend and raised over $50,000 for Avondale House and our amazing program participants! Way to go, team!

Thank you to Episcopal High School seniors for spending a week with us and our program participants!

Last week, we welcomed 10 seniors from Episcopal High School to volunteer with us each morning. Our program participants love seeing new faces, and had a blast completing art projects, playing Bingo, participating in music class and interacting with the volunteers. It was such a joy to have them here with us, and we're thankful they were able to give us their time and help out with various activities.
