Market Updates

Fresh Domestic Flounder - N.C. & New Jersey are currently producing.

  • With both NC & NJ producing, pricing has decreased.
  • Virginia Flounder season will open in February 15th.


Fresh Wild Rockfish - Heavy landings on fish from the North Atlantic

  • Sizes available: 2-4#, 5-8#, & 15+# fish


Fresh Maine Uni (Sea Urchin Roe) - Domestic season just opened

  • Available in 60 gram units
  • We can also accommodate Live Sea Urchin if interested - check in with your sales representative for more information


Fresh Shrimp - Local season has closed due to cold weather conditions.

  • Fresh Georgia Shrimp is available in 21/25 & 16/20 count by special order only.
  • This is a one week lead time - please keep in mind.
  • We do offer frozen East Coast Shrimp when fresh is not available in 21/25 & 16/20 count.


Live Lobster - price increases due to holiday

  • Slight price increases on all sizes of live lobster due to Valentine's Day.
  • Availability is high and our tanks are full for your requests.
  • Please - for larger sizes and quantities, consider getting with your representative early to secure product.


Opelio Crab Legs (Snow Crab) - price increases

  • Availability tightens on larger sizes with (10/UP & 12/UP), and lack of availability can drive price increases.
  • The new season will open in June with new product allocations.


Domestic Dry Scallops - Prices will continue to rise.

  • We should expect prices to continue to rise into the new year.
  • It should be noted that next year's domestic quota will be shorter and issued in April.
  • Imported alternatives are an option - please get in contact with a sales representative for more information.


Local Crabmeat - Fresh season is over.

  • We have a good supply of Virginia, pasteurized lump and jumbo lump to offer during the off season - available in 12# units.
  • Fresh Venezuelan crab meat is a fantastic substitute if looking for a product with fresh qualities - available in 1# units.
  • Samples are available at your request.

East Coast Flounder

NC & NJ | Medium, Large & Jumbo fish


Fresh Flounder production is mainly coming out of NC, but NJ's season opening has helped keep pricing down.

Puppy Drum (Red Drum)

North Carolina | Cut from 3-8# fish


High catches of local Red Drum are hitting the deck at the shop with fresh fish coming in almost daily. A briny, sweet treat worth trying!

Lane Snapper

Caribbean | Cut from 1-2# fish


Who doesn't love a whole fish presentation for menus? Our fresh, 1-2# Lane Snapper is a great dine in option and present well in retail cases.

Speckled Trout

North Carolina | Cut from 2-6# fish


Fresh, local speckled trout has high availability this time of year! Quality is fantastic with buttery sweet flavors and a firm, dense flake.



Fresh Wild-Caught Rockfish

Domestic Swordfish

South Carolina | Cut from 50-100# fish
