Cheryl McLeskey-from Fishing to Philantropy.
Cheryl McLeskey-you may know her as the successful bussiness woman wh o took over as CEO of McLeskey and Associates in 2012 after her beloved husband, Wayne McLeskey passed. She credits Wayne with lovingly grooming her to be a deliberate and successful businesswoman, but also for her love of fishing, dancing, and flying.  Cheryl has recently designated F.A.C.T. as the recipients of a $14,000 donation generated by the 2nd Annual F. Wayne McLeskey Memorial Marlin Open. Cheryl created this fishing tournament to honor Wayne's memory, his philanthropic spirit, and his love of the sport. The generous gift will be used to underwrite a full week of Camp Gonnawannagoagin' for forty-five children this summer and help fortify our scholarship fund for families with financial need.

Josh Severts: VB Exotics
Every now an then, we are contacted by someone who is asking to visit camp. These people have no ulterior motives; they simply want to volunteer their talents and bring a little more happiness to Camp Gonnawannagoagin'. Interestingly enough, the folks that seek us out are always our favorites.
Josh Severts, or as we all call him "Animal Josh," has been visiting camp for years. He always seems to bring a sense of peace and calming along with him, and his demeanor with the students is remarkable. When the students see he is coming on the picture schedule, they vigorously point at the little lizard icon in anticipation of his visit. Students who rarely speak will cradle and speak to the animals he brings. We really want to thank you, "Animal Josh" (and we hope you don't mind us calling you "Animal Josh").
Winter Camp and Bike Camp Wrap-up
Some may thing we're crazy for "sandwiching in" Winter Camp Gonnawannagoagin' AND iCan Bike Camp during the week between Christmas and New Years, but we sure did  have a crazy amount of fun! In only four days, we managed to: make two art projects, play 3 games of musical chairs, have a dance party, meet with and learn about exotic animals, go bowling, practice sweet stunts at JUMP Trampoline Park, hit the batting cages, have some relay races, go to Dave & Buster's...oh, and teach 25 children with disabilities to ride a bike. And you?
