What is a Manufacturing Consortium?

A series of associated courses created to find solutions to various needs of manufacturers in a specific region. This consortium will provide manufacturers in Western Mass with an opportunity of expert driven training courses with a no or low-cash-flow obligation to your company!

How is there no or minimal cash flow obligation?

All training courses are funded by the Workforce Training Fund, which you’re already contributing to through unemployment tax contributions! Want to get a return on those contributions?? Here’s your opportunity.

Is this something we do ourselves?

MassMEP will complete the grant application on behalf of participating companies, submit the grant application to the state and provide all continuous improvement development with our in-house team of subject matter experts and our trusted partners.

CITY OF WESTFIELD REQUESTS FORM OF LIST COMPLETIONS

The City Assessor’s Office will be mailing a tax form – Form of List (State Tax Form 2) to all business owners in the City. The form is not a bill, but rather a survey seeking statements of personal property related to the operation of a business. Most small businesses do not get a tax bill related to the completion of Form of List; but in the absence of a completed form, the assessor’s office estimates property value, which may result in inaccurate data. It’s to the benefit of each business owner to complete the form for accuracy. Forms will be mailed January 1 and are due back March 1. The assessor welcomes calls and questions regarding completion of the Form of List.
