Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training (Level I & II - 50 contact hours):
Share the gift of yoga and learn how to safely teach women throughout the most profound experience of their lives - during pregnancy.  Learn how to safely guide expectant mothers to connect to their inner wisdom, their babies and others to prepare for this joyful Celebration of Life and empower women to move into parenthood with grace and awareness.  In this comprehensive prenatal yoga training, gain confidence and a solid foundation to offer professional, responsible, safe and effective yoga instruction to women during all three stages of their pregnancy and beyond.

Postpartum/Mom & Baby Yoga Teacher Training: (25 contact hours):
Assist new mothers in gracefully transitioning from the prenatal to postpartum period with the power of yoga.  This training will educate yoga instructors on how to safely and effectively structure a Postpartum/Mom & Baby Yoga class to help strengthen the postpartum body, bond with her baby and connect to a community of other new mothers.  Learn about the 4th trimester, anatomy, physiology and common discomforts of the postpartum body; appropriate asana for the postpartum body; sequencing, structuring and marketing a Mom & Baby Yoga class; and guide new mothers on how to nurture and bond with her baby through infant massage, yoga postures and ply to help baby sleep better, assist with digestion, colic and fussiness, increase neuromuscular and motor development, strengthen muscles, develop social and play skills, assist babies natural development with tummy time, crawling and walking.
 
4th Trimester - Physiological Changes to the Postpartum Body  | Appropriate Asana for the Postpartum Body (modifications and contraindicated postures; regaining support and stabilization of the joints, abdominals and pelvic floor muscles) | Yoga Therapeutics for common postnatal issues including back, wrist, knee, neck & shoulder | Sequencing for the Postpartum Body | Lifestyle: Ayurveda, Nutrition, Herbal Remedies, Essential Oils | Building the Bond: Infant Massage, Posture & Play for Mom & Baby | Observation of Mom & Baby Yoga class | Business aspects and marketing for Postpartum Mom & Baby Yoga.

Weekend courses: Friday - Sunday 9 am - 6 pm each day
$565/Immersion (includes materials fee)
 

Prenatal Level I Immersion (24 hours): March 11 - 13, 2016
Prenatal Level II Immersion (24 hours): April 8 - 10, 2016
Prenatal Level III Immersion (24 hours): June 24 - 26, 2016

Make up date for winter immersions due to inclement weather: April 8 - 10, 2016

Summer Intensive Prenatal I, II & III: June 18 - 25, 2016, $1500

Postpartum/Mom & Baby Immersion (20 hours): October 7 - 9, 2016
