Dear Webinar Students,
We have received several questions about getting credits and certificates. In an effort to minimize the same questions being asked many times, I will attempt to answer those questions proactively.
In addition, I want to help everyone with tech issues upfront if possible.

What to expect from this Webinar / How to have the best Experience
Q. When will I get my certificates?
A. Jackie will try to get them to you in 72 hours or less. Jackie has over 500 to make every Webinar. We don’t want to kill her. She usually only has 100 or so to do a week. We are now doing 2 Webinars a week. Please have some patience.
Q. How will I GET my certificate?
A. Jackie will email it to the email you registered for the Webinar. Please make sure to check your spam or trash before asking for a new cert. We are happy to make a new cert, free of charge, but ask for your assistance before requesting.
Q. Where do I send my request?

Q. I want to take more of your classes. How do I sign up for them?
A. You will need to sign up for each class individually.
Q. My spouse and I both signed up for the class. Can only one of us log into the class and watch on the same computer?
A. NO NO NO….. you need to log on separately, otherwise we cannot track your answers to the attendance and questions separately. You MUST answer those questions on your own computer for them to count.
Q. I logged on with my iPhone and could not see your polling questions.
A. I am not a tech guy….. SO… Please ONLY log in on your computer if you want CREDIT. You are welcome to join us by phone if you do NOT need or want CE credit.
Q. I took this class with you already, will I get double credit?
A. I love this question. It does have a crazy answer though. You can take the same class and get credit IF IF IF…. You took the class for your LAST Lic renewal. In other words, you cannot take the same class FOR DOUBLE credit WITHIN the same 2-year renewal cycle of you license. You are ALWAYS WELCOME to any of our classes for education, but you will NOT get double credit! 😊
Q. Can I take more than my 22 ½ hours of CE credit in my 2-year cycle and CARRY OVER the extra credit?
A. NO NO NO…. if you take 40 CE credits during your 2-year renewal (including your mandatory classes) you will only receive credit for completing the MINIMUM 22 ½ hours and any addition credits will DISSAPEAR! Sorry, not my rules…. NY State Rules!
Q. Why can’t I speak or write to other attendees?
A. This is a training Webinar, not a MEETING. I have disabled all those communications to keep order in the classroom. Imagine if we allowed 500 people to all speak and write notes back and forth!!! 😊
Q. What is the COST to attend these classes?
A. Rob Tuzzo and I are more than happy to offer these online webinar classes for the rock bottom price of $20 a class through our school…. New York School of Real Estate. If you have anyone you think would like to join our classes, please feel free to forward our class registration email. We have opened the classes for up to 500 attendees. Jackie? You there? Q. How long will New York School of Real Estate be conducting these Webinar NY CE Classes?
A. NY State DOS has granted us temporary permission to conduct these Webinars during the COVID-19 crisis. This temporary approval can be removed at any time as the DOS adjusts according to the COVID-19 time frame. As we all know, this is a moving target. We appreciate how DOS has been working with all the schools in NY to provide Webinar Trainings. I am pretty sure that DOS will give us a couple of weeks’ notice for an end date. However, I do not have my magic 8-ball anymore. It’s in the basement closet gathering dust!
SPECIAL NOTE
We want to thank all those that have sent us so many emails of support for these classes. MANY hours of preparation go into EVERY class as well as the BOOT CAMP crash course we have been taking in ZOOM webinars to make your learning experience as pleasant as possible. Our team includes, Jackie Meyer, Haley Findlay, Rob and me.
We are by no means ZOOM webinar professionals, so we ask that you cut us just a little slack if we seem to fumble around a little. Our first Webinar on “What Caused the Mortgage Collapse of 2008” went pretty well. Few bumps and bruises, but we had just under 500 students for our first class.
Sometimes it takes a few times to have an issue resolved, but I promise that we work hard to get all concerns and issues resolved.
