On this beautiful summer evening, Noah Syndergaard took to the mound and pitched a fabulous game for
us against the Cincinnati Reds.
Noah was in great form and struck out 7 batters in the 6 1/3 innings he completed.
The Met's bats came alive that evening as they outhit the Reds 16 to 7 and won the game 6 to 4.
Bakers from all over New York State got to enjoy each others company and the game.
What goes with friends and baseball? That would be fabulous Ballpark food.
What could beat Ballpark food? Final Answer! Bringing the Grand-kids to the big game.
Talking about taking the Grand-kids. Look what was also was special.
What a wonderful event to celebrate.
We are rooting for 50 more.
The excitement keep coming as shirts were cannoned from the field into the stands.
And this young man bravely dove into the seats and captured his prize shirt.
However, somehow she wound up with it.
Some thing are hard to explain.
The homers kept coming and look who snagged one. Congratulations!!!!
During a break in the action, we shot a picture of our hardy group.
You will notice that some seats were empty, so being concerned we trudged off to find our missing fellow Bakers. We tracked them down and found them at the following booths. Fortunately they were all fine.
Very fine.
All had a great time with friends, food, family, contests, home-run balls caught, anniversaries, expert pitching, hitting, and did I mention that
THE METS WON!
But wait, that is not all. If you look closely at the picture below, and many of the ones above, you will notice something.
You got it correct, many had on Mike Piazza, #31 shirts. That is because President Nick Stork had them supplied for all of the NY Bakers who were smart enough to attend this
fantastic
game.
Good job Nick!
Please consider joining us next year.
