The Evolution of New Zealand Cycling Tours
Until Santana broke the mold, New Zealand bike tours followed a dot to dot format. This map shows the most popular version. The 100 or so miles between hotels necessitates daily repacking and hours of confinement in the back of a cramped shuttle-van. 
The use of a chartered airplane allowed Santana’s 2009-2015 participants to sample better cycling and additional regions. Additionally, these revolutionary events required less repacking and fewer hours in shuttles. However, the cost far exceeded a cycling cruise, and spent less time actually cycling.
Santana’s use of a chartered ship allows us to enjoy more of the best cycling New Zealand has to offer, 9 regions in 9 days. No long shuttles or repacking. More time to cycle, explore, and relax.

Pricing goes up
The number of staterooms is limited. If you wait until Monday, the per person fare for remaining staterooms goes up by $500. But why delay? If you change your mind within 14 days, our escrow-like system promptly returns every nickel.
Best rooms go to those who book earliest
In each stateroom category the prime rooms closest to the ship's central stairway are provided to those with the earliest time stamp on their booking. Attending with another couple? Adjacent staterooms are assigned based on the timestamp of the friend who books first. With Santana’s NO RISK booking system there’s no need to waste time playing phone tag with friends. As long as at least one of you moves quickly, your friends get better rooms.
