Helen Tu – Tax Director
: Helen advises alternative investment funds, fund managers, and investors. Her experience covers a broad spectrum of tax issues impacting the alternative investment industry including private equity and real estate partnership taxation, operational/fund transactions and structuring, Section 1031 exchange, Section 163(j) issues, capital rebuilt/modeling, cost segregation analysis, real estate acquisition/development/construction, global fund tax structuring, planning & reporting (including withholding tax compliances for foreign investors), corporate taxation, and state/local taxation issues. She recently left the Financial Services Group at
where she oversaw some of the firms most significant engagements and joined FTS as a Tax Director. Prior to joining
, Helen was with
Financial Service Group where she was involved in multiple tax consulting/compliance/provision engagements for a number of global based public & private real estate investments/funds and private equity funds. Helen's experience includes tax compliance, consulting, and structuring for partnerships, REITs and C Corporation. Helen’s experience also includes tax provision for REIT and C Corp (both GAAP and IFRS).

Naresh bringing to FTS a wealth of experience from
Angelo, Gordon & Co, PricewaterhouseCoopers,
Citi Private Equity Services
Naresh was with Alternative Investment Group where he led tax consulting & compliance engagements for a number of global Private Equity Funds and Fund-of-Funds and was the lead manager on an $18 billion AUM engagement.

working in their Alternative Partnership Tax Group. Avetik experience includes tax compliance and consulting with private equity funds and fund-of-funds.
– Tax Associate: Rob
brings his experience in private equity fund taxation from

in their corporate tax compliance division prior to FTS.
