Rebecca is a shy and sometimes clumsy locomotive, but she loves to see the best in all her friends on the Island Of Sodar. She also has the uncanny ability to work with Troublesome Trucks without trouble on the first try….something that confuses even the trucks themselves. Rebecca is based on a Southern Railway (SR) "West Country" and "Battle of Britain" class (also known as "Light Pacifics"), a class of 4-6-2 tender locomotives designed by Oliver Bulleid and built between 1945 and 1951. Bachmann carefully reproduces your favorite Thomas & Friends™ characters in HO scale. All locomotives feature realistic faces with moving eyes, operating HO scale electric drive mechanisms, highly detailed plastic body shells, all-metal wheels, and international-style hook-and-loop couplers.

Thomas is the No. 1 blue engine. He is a cheeky little engine who often gets into scrapes, usually by being over-eager to do things best left to bigger and more sensible engines. But clouds never last long in Thomas’ world and soon he’s bustling about again, playing his part in the yard and on his very own branch line. Thomas works hard and he always strives to be a “Really Useful Engine.”
