New Thomas & Friends™ Arrivals
Locomotives & Rolling Stock

DAISY
(with moving eyes)
Item No. 58820
Daisy is a diesel railcar who was brought to the Island of Sodor for branch line service. When she first arrived, she was "highly sprung" and would only carry passengers because she felt she was too good to pull goods wagons. Daisy soon learned that all work is important, and now helps out whenever she can. Daisy is based on a diesel/mechanical single-car passenger unit built by Metro-Cammel. Bachmann carefully reproduces your favorite Thomas & Friends™ characters in HO scale. All locomotives feature realistic faces with moving eyes, operating electric drive mechanisms, highly detailed plastic body shells, all-metal wheels, and international-style hook-and-loop couplers.
JAMES
Item No. 58793
James is the No. 5 red engine. He is a medium-sized engine whose six driving wheels are not as big as Gordon's but not as small as Thomas'. He has a fine scarlet coat and brass dome and thinks of himself as a really splendid engine. Occasionally this leads to misguided ideas about the sort of work suitable for such a distinguished engine, invariably landing James in trouble. James is a mixed-traffic engine, which means he can pull both passenger coaches and freight cars. He is based on a Hughes Class 28 superheated 2-6-0 tender engine. Bachmann carefully reproduces your favorite Thomas & Friends™ characters in N scale. All locomotives feature realistic faces, operating electric drive mechanisms, highly detailed plastic body shells, and all-metal wheels.
NARROW GAUGE
PETER SAM
Item No. 58604
(HO Narrow Gauge Model Operates on N Scale Track)
Peter Sam is a happy and kind engine. A hard worker by nature, Peter Sam seldom grumbles about late hours or extra work. He is based on a Kerr, Stuart & Co. Ltd. 0-4-2ST narrow gauge engine. Narrow Gauge Thomas & Friends™ products are HO models that run on N scale track. All Thomas and Friends Narrow Gauge locomotives feature electric drive mechanisms, highly detailed die-cast construction, all-metal wheels, and international-style hook-and-loop couplers. A narrow-gauge railway is one where the spacing between the rails is less than the standard (4 ft 8 1⁄2 in) spacing found on typical railroads.
NARROW GAUGE
YELLOW RHENEAS
Item No. 58605
(HO Narrow Gauge Model Operates on N Scale Track)
Rheneas is a tough little engine who works hard. Rheneas has a fine sense of humor and keeps the engines at the Blue Mountain Quarry smiling. Whilst working at the quarry, Rheneas' paintwork was severely scraped after trying to make it over the collapsing Blondin Bridge. This resulted in a brief period where he was painted yellow. He is based on a Fletcher, Jennings & Co. 0-4-0ST narrow gauge engine.
