The 2024-25 FAFSA is now available!

The U.S. Department of Education has begun its soft launch of the overhauled 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), during which time the application will be available to students and families periodically as the department pulls the form down from time to time to perform maintenance and address any potential issues.

Federal Student Aid (FSA) has stressed that applicants do not need to rush to complete the application during the soft launch since FSA will not transmit Institutional Student Information Records (ISIRs) to institutions until later in January.

However, Lincoln University Student Financial Services staff want to remind families to be mindful of state and institutional deadlines. In Missouri, the state priority deadline for aid is February 1. 

Don't miss upcoming Finally FAFSA events

Student Financial Services will be hosting several Finally FAFSA events starting January 29, 2024, and running through March 1, 2024. These special events will give students a great opportunity to complete their FAFSA and apply for scholarships. Staff from SFS will be on hand to assist in the process. 

Thousands of dollars in prizes are available to event attendees: TV's, cameras, LU gear & much more! Students will be eligible to enter the drawing for prizes by attending a Finally FAFSA event and fully completing the FAFSA by February 29, 2024. The drawing will be held on March 8, 2024, with winners announced at that time. Stay tuned for additional information regarding Finally FAFSA events.
