Last week, the Helders hosted a wonderful homemade dinner for our Holiday Baskets captains and staff who led the event. We are so thankful for their generosity and time! We are also thankful for the many volunteers and donors who came together to make Holiday Baskets possible and provided joy to hundreds of families last December.

Make a voluntary tax contribution to support domestic violence survivors
|
|
Survivors of domestic violence need your support and it's easy to help through your state taxes. Make a voluntary tax contribution on your tax forms as a voluntary contribution line item on Form 540, Side 4, Line 14, Code 433. The money will be distributed by the Office of Emergency Services to non-profit domestic violence programs across California, like CRC.

Theatre for a Cause Raised over $3,000 for CRC!

Last week, the San Dieguito Academy presented their
Theatre for a Cause production, Snow Angel, where all proceeds were donated to CRC. The ticket proceeds and donations from generous attendees totaled over $3,000! We are so thankful for their support and the generosity of the attendees.

Turning Houses into Homes

Special thanks to volunteers from the Newcomers Encinitas who recently provided home makeovers for families impacted by domestic violence that move into our shelter or move out and into transitional housing.The volunteers prepared the new homes for arrival, purchasing furniture, decorating and making the space welcoming and beautiful.

REEF cleaned and spruced up our Food Distribution Center. CRC is proud to help women thrive, whether they are survivors of domestic violence, homeless, hungry or in need of assistance. Thank you to our generous volunteers!
