What is Whole Dog Training?
Whole Dog Training recognizes that
all dogs are unique and learn differently. It also takes into consideration that there are many ways to shape a dog's behavior. Kaye will help you to understand the best way to work with your dog, as an individual, to learn the commands and behaviors you want. She also explains why this is the best way to help your dog learn, taking into the consideration his or her body, mind and spirit as a whole. Whole Dog Training uses only positive reinforcement methods.

With Kaye Smith
Six week classes from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Wednesdays: Aug. 15, 22, Sept. 5, 12, 19 & Oct. 3
Cost: $90 for six one hour sessions

In Beginner Training, you will learn:
Sit, Down, Stay, Come when called, Loose leash walking, Leave it, Give it and other commands and tips that will help with problem solving and house manners.

Personalized Individual training is also available at The Reiki Center. This training lets you pick the areas you would like to work on. Together we work through any problems you are having and develop the behaviors you want your dog to have.
$60 one hour session. $200 for four one hour sessions.

Kaye Smith is a Reiki Master who practices and teaches Animal Reiki, has
trained all types of dogs in the community for over 20 years, and is the
Director of the Center's Animal Wellness Division.

What is YOUR legacy?
When I was younger, I always got uncomfortable when grandparents talked about no longer being around. I guess I thought it was morbid. Maybe I thought it would hasten the inevitable outcome if the word "death" was mentioned.

But the older I get, the more I understand that it's not death that frightens many people. Often, it's not being remembered, not leaving a legacy. It's not having your good work continue after you're gone - perhaps through your children, or the people you have impacted as a volunteer, or maybe the company that you built.

As you consider the many ways you want to be remembered, please consider a gift to Stone Soup Project, the Center's nonprofit, in your final wishes. Your gift may help purchase tangible items, like massage tables or a van to transport volunteers to help those who most need healing services. While some agencies provide a honorarium for services, most of the organizations we serve exist on very limited donated funds.
