Boulder Arts Week is Boulder’s only large-scale, inclusive celebration of our community’s vibrant arts and cultural offerings. The City of Boulder is home to thousands of artists and over 140 arts organizations - so show them some much-needed love during this week filled with events and activities! From hands-on classes to film screenings and exhibits, there is something creative for every type of artist and art enthusiast. And be sure to take the self-guided Mural Walking Tour by Street Wise Arts to see the city from a new perspective (our Intern Alex took the tour - discover what he found)!

Finally, don't forget to vote for the Student Banner People's Choice Award while walking the Mall. Incredible young artists from Columbine Elementary School, Casey Middle School and Boulder High School created 42 banners centered around the theme of social justice that adorn the Pearl Street Mall light poles. The student whose banner receives the most votes will win a $100 Downtown Boulder Gift Card!

March is Women's History Month, which is a good opportunity to appreciate all the women business leaders downtown (but they should be recognized all the time)! Without their tenacity and innovation, downtown would not be the vibrant place it is today. To learn more about women-owned and led businesses, check out this page.

The Museum of Boulder presents a new year-long exhibit - Voces Vivas - honoring the early Boulder County Latino families and their histories to date. The story includes tragedies, celebrations and monumental movements. La comunidad was guided by tradition, faith and a lust for life. Relying on each other’s generosity to get through the arduous and good times was rooted in tradition. La comunidad survived and thrived con corazon!
