Dear MAAEYC Members and Community,
I am both honored and thrilled to step into the role of President of MAAEYC. As we turn the page to this new chapter, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the trust you have placed in me. The journey that lies ahead is one that we will navigate together, forging paths that lead to enriching experiences for both our young learners and for us as educators, advocates and members.
Early childhood education holds a critical place in society, nurturing the minds that will shape tomorrow. At MAAEYC, our commitment remains steadfast—to elevate the quality of early childhood education and to support each other in our professional growth and advocacy efforts. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to high-quality early learning experiences that are both inclusive and equitable.
In the coming term, I aim to focus on enhancing our community engagement, broadening our professional development opportunities, and strengthening our advocacy efforts at both local and national levels. Collaboration will be at the core of our agenda, and I encourage each of you to share your insights, experiences, and ideas. Together, we can continue to make a significant impact in the early childhood field.
I am very happy to announce that we will be returning to an in-person Annual Conference in June of 2025!
