Let Your Andrew Out!
Welcome Brothers to the inaugural edition (Volume 1) of our new bi-weekly newsletter, "Let Your Andrew Out"! It's a quick read, multi topic news channel for members to see what is going on, what is planned and successes from the previous weeks. Feel free to email us news tid-bits or notices of upcoming events in your area so we can include them! We hope you enjoy this format and will share it !
Triennial success in Louisville!
Hopefully you were able to attend our first "virtual" triennial last month from Louisville. BUT if you couldn't make it, jump over to our website and you'll see a recap of adopted changes to our Constitution and Bylaws AND and your new Executive Board members. We still have some key positions open - three Members At Large representatives and a Communications Vice President. If you're interested please contact Conrad Jones at conrad.jones@brothersandrew.net! There are also replays of videos from the entire Triennial, including workshops for each of our seven ministries!
Planned Giving
Stay tuned for articles coming up in The Cross regarding a new program being introduced by our 1st VP of Planned Giving, Br. John Blossom. It will be designed to assist us in building an even more robust financial foundation for our future ministry work in The Brotherhood
MALs needed!
(That's short for Members At Large)
During the pandemic related shutdowns of 2020 and early 2021, many chapters and parishes became isolated. We have over 700 Brothers who are MALs and are not currently a part of a parish chapter. Three things we want to do to keep these Brothers in touch are
  1. We hold a monthly MAL Zoom call open to all Brothers
  2. We have 3 vacancies on our Executive Bard specifically for MALs -would you be interested or know of a Brother who would be?
  3. Ask our local chapters to reach out to MALs in their vicinity to invite them to ZOOM in to their chapter meetings.

COMMUNICATIONS VP
We have a very robust Communications Committee that keeps us all in touch by The Cross, emails, newsletter, website, social media....
BUT WE NEED a volunteer to help coordinate those efforts and assure standard messaging across all platforms! If you have experience with team building. project managing or communications/marketing, please reach out to Br. Roy Benavides at
roy.benavides@brothersandrew.net
WHY??
In his acceptance speech at the Triennial, our National President Conrad Jones challenged us to write to him and tell him WHY we are a member of our Brotherhood. Here's a couple of responses:
"I want to be close to people who really KNOW the Bible well and are willing to discuss it together."

"I found the Brotherhood to be a caring organization with Prayer and Study at the head of the organization."

Can you guess where this beautiful St. Andrew shrine is located? (Here's a hint: the country is shaped like a boot!)
A pledge is a commitment......have you met yours yet this year?
If you haven't made your 2021 Pledge payment yet (it can slip our minds sometimes!), its so simple to do it online! Just click on this link
to go to our website and fulfill your pledge

To support an organization of nearly 5000 members across the USA and publish The Cross it takes a significant budget. You can help fulfilling our normal pledge of less than $1 per week! But anything you can provide will be multiplied in the good works we can do in bringing more men and youth to Christ.
