It has happened again....Oh Dear. Another SPAM email was sent using Rev Pam's and Unity's name. IT IS NOT FROM HER OR UNITY!!! Rev. Pam would never ask you to buy gift cards and send numbers. She would never send out those emails!! PLEASE report as spam or delete.

We are so sorry.

They appear to be using an old list of names perhaps from a time when our website had its directory on line. Our Directory is given out to UNITY folks only, in a file we print here in the office. It is not on-line.

We are working on updating our current directory and have copies of the current directory in the office. If you would like a copy, stop by and ask Beverly for one. Check to make sure your information is listed and is correct. New ones will be printed.

ourNew Piano in our Sanctuary!

Thank you Diane Vaux and Clara Frederickson for championing this new instrument and for the folks who have been donating to our Piano Fund. We appreciate your financial help! There is a basket on the piano for anyone else who would like to contribute.

CELEBRATE OUR NEW PIANO WITH A PIANO SOIREE! Monday afternoon, September 22nd at 4pm

All are invited to come and listen to our new Steinway Piano with the talented Lisa Lanza in this informal afternoon of piano music. Enjoy a cup of tea and perhaps a cookie while Lisa immerses the sanctuary with the sounds of this new instrument. Donations accepted for the new piano.

Help Wanted (and needed):

Sunday Fellowship Coordinator. To coordinate the volunteer efforts providing coffee and goodies for after service fellowship. Whatever training is required will be provided. Looking for a willing heart and friendly smile.

Maybe it could be a Kitchen Team?!?!?!

Janitorial Assistance: With janitorial service out of commission for a while, we are looking for help in keeping our Spiritual Home clean and presentable. This is particularly important with the construction going on. This is not a job but a serviced opportunity to fill in the gap. Commitment will be for only one week at a time and will involve only a couple of hours of your time.

Zoom and Camera help needed on October 12th while Kaiya and Beverly are out of town.

Concert help: Richard Russell concert on October 11th, 4-6pm needs someone to take tickets at the door. We also need a couple of strong hands (and backs) to set up stage for Richard and his musicians.

This 9-hour Peace Vigil invokes prayers for peace within us and our world. Wherever you are at the top of each hour, unite with us in praying for peace. Join our High Watch Chaplains in prayer and together we can change the world.

Please unite with us to:

Ask, knowing that as we pray so peace shall be done.
Affirm the presence of the peace we are seeking.
Give thanks for our already answered prayers for peace.

Our Chapel of Light will be open for silent meditation and holding the vigil in this sacred space wth music and candles from 10 am-4 pm here at Unity.

This year's theme is "Be Still and Know." The affirmation....in the stillness, I awaken to divine wisdom...will help us live out this theme.

The focus of the event is the 24-hour prayer vigil. Any names or requests you send will be immediately held in continuous prayer in the Unity Prayer Ministry. Then they will be added to the prayer vigil during World Day of Prayer and will remain with Silent Unity for another 30 days after that.

Here’s how you can begin preparing for World Day of Prayer 2025 right now:

Consider this year’s theme, “Be Still and Know,” and how these reflection questions can be applied to your own experience.
Read and reflect on the guiding prayer.

Sound and Vocal Prayer Circle 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 4pm in Unity's Hearth Room, starting Sept. 24th. Lynette Bullard will facilitate a relaxed, accepting, and sacred place to offer our intentions and prayers. We will be oming, toning, breathing, and praying, creating sound with our voices, and small instruments, chimes, bells, light drums, etc. We will tune in to offer our prayers and intentions to the universe. Together we will create a welcoming space with prayers, sounds and our hearts.

Bring water, small instruments (if you like), and your voice. And of course, your Hearts and your Presence. Donations accepted for Unity.
