New weaving class

FINALLY, the Carrier beads have arrived!! If you are a stitching fan of Jill Wiseman, you will know that Carrier Beads are "all the rage" right now. In this bead weaving class you will learn how to make the peyote stitch strips to cover the carrier beads. You will learn how to read a chart and maybe even create your own design! General knowledge of peyote stitch is required. Class Fee: $25 + your choice of materials

Apophyllite
This gem of the crystals caught my attention at a cool little bead shop in Hawaii. I purchase lots of crystals, or shall I say they pick me. The new ones I don't really know why until I get the opportunity to sit and study my new treasure.

: Looks a lot like quartz, clear and sparkly, but a couple of clues it is not. It is four sided with a cool little flat top.
