PSC welcomes Kayla Gordon as Women's Basketball head coach

Pensacola State College has named Kayla Gordon as head coach of the Lady Pirates women’s basketball program, bringing a reputation for elite player development, high-level recruiting, relationship-driven leadership and proven ability to cultivate winning cultures.

Caroline Powell is named Pirates Softball's new head coach

Caroline Powell has been named head coach of the PSC softball program following 10 years as an assistant coach for the Pirates and as the sports information director for PSC Athletics. She brings championship-level coaching experience, a proven track record of developing successful student-athletes, and a wealth of institutional knowledge to her new role. 

PSC Charter Academy launches soccer program this fall

The PSC Charter Academy is in the process of selecting a coach for the new girls soccer team, which will begin play within the Escambia County Public Schools district this fall. Charter Academy Athletic Director Lyndsey Angus is leading the search and setup for the new program. Team tryouts will be open to girls in grades 9–12.

Culinary students shine at annual Graze, Grapes & Grains event

The PSC Foundation hosted its annual Graze, Grapes & Grains donor appreciation event on Wednesday, July 22, in the G. Thomas Delaino Student Center. Each year, the evening celebrates President’s Circle donors while highlighting the creative skills and talent of the college’s culinary and hospitality management students.
