We are back for another school year! Superintendent Israel Vela was out visiting schools and welcoming students for the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Fill the Bus School Supply Drive

Thank you to the KSD Community and Communities in Schools of Kent for making sure our students have the school supplies they need. You can request school supplies for your student using this form on the KSD website.

New Start Time for Regularly Scheduled Board Meetings and Work Sessions

Work Sessions will begin at 5:00 p.m. and Regular Board Meetings will begin at 6:30 p.m. You can view the full schedule of the school board meeting for the 2022-2023 school year on the KSD website.

Resetting Student Passwords for 2022-2023 School Year

All students will be required to reset their Kent School District account password for the 2022-2023 school year after August 16, 2022. Learn more about this process and how you can reset your password on the KSD website.

Free Microsoft Training for Families

Attend a live virtual training to learn how to use Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 applications, available to all KSD families for free. You may attend as many trainings or times as needed to fit your family and student needs.

Kindergarten Begins on Tuesday, September 13

Kindergarten will begin on Tuesday, September 13. Please visit your school's bell schedule page to know what time school starts for your student's school.

Free and Reduced Meal Applications

Please visit our nutrition services webpage to determine if your family qualifies and to apply. Students who are eligible can participate in optional, non-credit, extracurricular activities at no cost. Eligible families receive a Family Activity Card for parents/guardians and their elementary-age and younger children to enter KSD-sponsored events free or at a reduced rate. A Family Activity Card will be mailed to families that qualify for free and reduced-price meals. Be sure to complete an online free and reduced-price meal application to determine if your family is eligible.

Kentlake Celebrates 25 Years of Excellence

Kentlake High School kicks off 25 years with a celebration on Saturday, October 1. All current and former Kentlake students, staff, and families are invited to help Kentlake commemorate 25 years of excellence. The celebration will start at 6:00 p.m. with food trucks, music, and tours at Kentlake High School.
