Thank You Voters! New Kent Laboratory Academy & River Ridge Elementary School Buildings

Kent School District leaders, Kent Laboratory Academy staff, and community leaders opened the doors to the new Kent Laboratory Academy campus on Saturday, August 28. They explored the new building and thanked voters for their support of the 2016 Bond initiative which provided funding for both of the new buildings.

“A brand new school building is only possible because of our community's investment in education and in the future of our students," Interim Superintendent Israel Vela said. "These beautiful new buildings are a physical representation of our commitment to students and families to provide the best possible learning environment in successfully preparing all students for their futures."

River Ridge Elementary School is planning a similar opening event in September for families and community members to view the new campus. Stay tuned for details!
