Spring Breezes In!

Fresh off the easel
The paint on the canvas above is still wet as this newsletter goes to print - it was finished just yesterday and I can't promise I won't 'tweak' it some more before it goes on the wall but it was so 'on theme' with the seasonal transition that I just had to share it. It's title "Spring Breezes In" is because my aim was to capture that first exuberance of being able to fling windows wide open and invite fresh air into the house; its pink floral curtains suggestive of all the blossom now appearing on the trees, complemented by the first hint of deep blue sky peeping around the edge.

This latest painting should be on the website well before the end of March and there are two more new pieces in the pipeline. In the meantime, here's a preview of some more recently finished work that is already uploaded and available.
