How long have you been a FAN member: 24 years

What recent FAN work are you most proud of? “I sit on several subcommittees for Florida EMSC as well as many national committees related to disaster preparedness in children with special health care needs, COVID, peds ready, and safe transport. Of special interest, living in a hurricane-prone area, is making preparedness a priority. I also was asked to be a part of the recent prehospital pain management guidelines from a consumer standpoint and helped to ensure pediatric patients were represented.”

Featured resource: Recent research from the Kaiser Family Foundation found parents reported 61 percent of children ages 12-17 had received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine while 33 percent of children ages 5-11 had received one vaccine.
