County opens new pickleball courts in Deacons Walk Park
County Executive Matt Meyer was joined by local state representatives at Deacons Walk Park last week to cut the ribbon on new pickleball courts in the park. New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer joined Hilda Bulah Morris, the last surviving member of the Bulah v. Gebhart case that was a part of the landmark Brown v. Dozens of students graduate from youth public safety program
New Castle County graduated dozens of students from their summer youth pubic safety program last week. The students spent weeks learning hands on skills needed by paramedics, 911 telecommunicators, firefighters and police officers at the county's training facility. Wilmington Children's Chorus heads to Germany for sister city trip
New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer joined members of the Wilmington Children's Chorus to wish them luck on their trip to Wilmington's sister-city, Fulda, Germany.
